What impact are you going to have in this world?
The thing that most people struggle with is that they don’t believe they can have an impact unless it is loud and proud. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Often it is the soft smiles or gentle nudges which flings the world into a new dimension.
Think back to when America was dealing with their racial separation. On one hand we had Martin Luther King, who stunned the world with his speech, “I Have A Dream.” He was the voice of a voiceless nation. On the other hand we had a soft spoken lady by the name of Rosa Parks, who one day, after a long day of work, sat in the front of the bus – which was illegal. She quietly and respectfully refused to move to the back of the bus and that stand of quite assertion made as much of an impact as the great Martin Luther King and his monstrous speeches.
Whatever your personality, whatever your style and whatever your dream, you can make an impact. As Jim Carrey once said, “The impact you have on other people is the greatest currency there is.” The question is, how are you going to spend it?
