Over the next few weeks, Political Economy and Global Trends specialist Daniel Silke will be presenting two major keynote addresses outside of South Africa. These international appearances cement Daniel as a global commentator on political, economic and social trends.
In Dubai next week, Daniel will be addressing the prestigious 2015 Arabian Hotel Investment Conference, which is the foremost conference in the Middle East relating to the Hospitality Industry.
Daniel will talk alongside Ivanka Trump, Executive Vice President of Development & Acquisitions at The Trump Organisation and Arne Sorenson, Chief Executive of Marriott on the topic of Global Trends to 2020 and the Hospitality Sector.
Following this at the end of May, Daniel will travel to Amsterdam to address French-based Actemium, a global leader in the energy, transport, life sciences, telecommunications and energy sector. This multi-national is made up of 300 business units operating across 38 countries across the world.
Daniel will provide the opening Keynote on the topic of Emerging Worlds – Political & Economic Change across the World. This will have special reference to Emerging Markets and their expected performance going forward.
These keynotes follow Daniel’s successful appearances in Maputo for the Institute of Brewing & Distilling where he spoke on Africa’s economic development and for PWC in Cape Town where he analysed the current state of emerging markets from a political economy perspective.
