Born and raised in the Rural KZN Village of Hlabisa, Buhlebethu (Buhle) Dlamini has risen and beaten the odds to become one of the top South Africans in People and Social Development today. Buhle has proven himself in the youth development field, business, public speaking, media and social entrepreneurship. His resume in just over a decade of professional work speaks for itself.
As a speaker Buhle Dlamini – Leadership never ceases to deliver a gripping and memorable experience with his genuine sense of humour, smile and great content. Buhle has had a long standing link with The Salvation Army from his youth to date, which connects his faith and his desire to make a difference in the world. He has also been involved with Heartlines, a Mass Media Initiative that promotes good values through media and social action. Buhle founded Young & Able cc, a business and personal development consultancy in 2003 with a desire to activate individual and organisational potential. This business quickly grew to offering consulting, speaking and training services to some of the top corporates in South Africa and abroad.
Buhle managed to grow and surround himself with a team of competent young consultants to offer a quality service in human development and training. This has led to other excellent initiatives like the initiative that encourages and support ordinary South Africans to mentor young people for good. Another equally exciting initiative of Young & Able is a partnership with a Scottish Youth Leadership Development Centre called Columba1400 that has enabled Young & Able to run successful school leadership academies for disadvantaged schools in townships and rural communities.
