“Leaders have the ability to have long-term dreams and then get others so excited that they want to be part of the journey. Leadership is not just about being the CEO or the president, it’s also about how you lead your personal life”.
Braam achieved a world-first by running the entire length of the Great Wall of China – a distance of over 4, 200 kms at a pace of a marathon a day for 98 days, as well as the entire coastline of South Africa, a distance of over 3, 200 kms.
He also represented South Africa in a once-in-a-lifetime event: The Scott / Amundsen Centenary unassisted race to the South Pole at an numbing -45º Celcius. A distance of 768kms and aptly dubbed ‘the most extreme race on earth’.
He believes that there is no overnight formula to becoming a leader. He will share his views and provide some practical tools to enable you to grow your leadership potential.
He bases his views on years of learning through his remarkable life story:
How to create a vision
How to move from success to significance
How to perform daily tasks relentlessly in the face of relentless adversity
Braam lives to help individuals reach their full potential, empower them to become better stewards of the
Earth, take control of their lives, have empathy for others and embrace change to grow their businesses.
