Alex van den Heever and Renias were asked to travel to Brazil to start a jaguar habituation project. The spent 10 days tracking jaguars on foot, which was an awesome experience! They were based at the Caiman Ecological Refuge. As a result of this trip they will be sending four of their top tracker students to Brazil for the next 5 years to continue the project. The aim is to get the jaguars to accept people and vehicles in the same way the leopards of Londolozi are habituated.
