Natasha Sutherland

Natasha grew up with a passion for dance, song, theatre , film and literature which echoes in every corner of her life. Her acting career had Natasha involved in Theatre, Musicals, Cabaret, Television and Film. But she is probably best known for her role as the presenter of the popular SABC kiddies show , Kideo, as well as Sam Ryan in the TV soapie, Egoli.

Natasha is the writer of a monthly column for Finesse magazine which has been received with great success.

Her first book Bittersweet – confessions of a freshly single, sold over 35 000 copies and in 2010 Natasha brought out her first children’s book called Green & Blue, aimed at helping parents and children negotiate the tricky path of divorce. All the proceeds of that book are donated to her Bigheart Foundation – a charity aimed at aiding the empowerment of Women.

Natasha’s latest book Fairytale – A Quest for Muchness is due for release in Feb 2011.

Natasha is currently the Brand Ambassador for the proudly South African Beauty brand Placecol and DNB.

She is also a public speaker, and travels the country conducting motivational talks on a holistic level about crisis control and finding your potential. This year Natasha is studying courses in Victim Empowerment as well as Logotherapy, which she hopes to use in creating healing modules for Storytelling Therapy.

Her dream is to open a Holistic Healing Centre.

But of all her accomplishments Natasha is most proud of her children, Benjamin and Sebastian, whom she claims are her ‘biggest teachers and inspiration!’
