Inspire is a division of Raizcorp which is, according to The Economist, the only genuine incubator in Africa that provides full-service enterprise development programmes that guide entrepreneurs to profitability (The Economist, April 8th–4th 2017).

Inspire cultivates entrepreneurial thinking by offering a range of sponsored engagements including entrepreneurial workshops and talks by Raizcorp CEO, Allon Raiz.

Inspire’s talks and workshops are designed to stimulate a sense of “intrapreneurship” in corporate employees. The value of fostering intrapreneurship is that it creates a “start-up” style of management which is characterised by flexibility, innovation and risk taking. This style allows established firms to fast track new product development because entrepreneurially-minded employees are more likely to circumvent bureaucracy, and also have the ability to take advantage of new opportunities in a more agile fashion.
