Ashley Taylor

An Honours graduate of Rhodes University, Ashley Taylor is an instantly recognizable part of the South African celebrity landscape.

Ashley Taylor is best known for his roles in Isidingo, in the movie Stander, as presenter of The Block, and especially for his wild and wacky characters from the Outsurance ads, a five year campaign that he devised and wrote exclusively for the company. Ashley Taylor has performed for the likes of ABSA, STANDARD BANK, ACSA, CANON, EOH, the LR group, PANASONIC, LG, TDC (Yellow Pages) and the IEC, in his capacity as MC, Comic, Motivational speaker, Creative Consultant, and Scriptwriter. From awards evenings, to year end functions, from four day conferences, to fun days, he has brought his own unique characters, and personality to a myriad of events country-wide, and has earned nothing but exceptional praise and accolades for his professionalism, and his outrageously funny characters, in particular, his very own BEE partner, Florence Mokaba.

Ashley Taylor will usually start the evening as himself, then return after dinner dressed to the Nines, as Florence, to take the audience on a wild, interactive, hilarious ride!
